SmartCards Expo 2008
SmartCards Expo 2008 will mark 10 years of glorious achievements of this unique event. Being the FIRST and THE ONLY Smart Card event in India, SmartCards Expo has spearheaded Smart Card Revolution in the country. Not only about Smart Cards, the show has created awareness in the fields of e-Security, e-Payments, RFID, Biometric and mobile communications.
SmartCards Expo 2008, co-located with e-Security Expo 2008, RFidIndia Expo 2008, BiometricsIndia Expo 2008 and a brand new separate show – e-PaymentsIndia Expo 2008 – will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India on August 27-29, 2008.
India has witnessed continued boom in the smart card market in the past couple of years. Frost & Sullivan had estimated the total market of Smart Cards in India in 2005-06 at about $44.7 million, which is expected to reach $148.7 million by 2010-11, registering a CAGR of 22.7%. However, looking at the current rapid growth in the Indian smart card market, these estimates appear to be conservative.
Smart card applications in conjunction with mobile communications, biometrics, RFID, and e-Payments are fast penetrating in a variety of socio-economic spheres and regions of India. Smart Cards are rapidly proliferating into newer application areas in the country – ID including National ID, Access Control, Driving licence and Vehicle Registration, e-Passport, Retail, Loyalty, Banking and Finance, Close User Group Applications, Healthcare, Transit and Fare Collection, Toll Collection, and many other applications.
Concurrently with the Exhibition, Technical Workshops and several international conferences are planned during SmartCards Expo 2008 and other concurrent events mentioned above.
We invite you to be with us to celebrate 10th Anniversary of SmartrCards Expo by participating in Asia's No.1 Smart Card Exhibition and explore great emerging opportunities in this field.
