International Conference on
e-Payments Technologies and Applications – the Indian Perspective

India has seen the advent of e-Payments in a big way. Governmental initiatives include Payment and Settlements Bill, Railways e-Payments for freight, direct presence of SWIFT in India, and CCIL-DTCC collaboration to name a few. Killer apps on the Indian market include: e-Tokens for data security access by banks; microfinance apps by FINO; mCheck; IPAY clearing services, advent of Obopay, PayMate, Paypal among others in the online and mobile payments scene.

e-PaymentsIndia Expo 2008, the 1st International Conference and Exhibition on e-Payments Technologies and Applications will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India during August 27-29, 2008 along with SmartCards Expo 2008-Asia's No.1 and World's No. 2 Smart Card Exposition, e-Security Expo 2008, RfidIndia Expo 2008 and BiometricsIndia Expo 2008.

International Conference on e-Payment Technologies and Applications – the Indian Perspective is planned on August 28, 2008 with participation of leading players in the field from world over.
